Ad rejected, tech issues, no traffic, Instagram ad fails.
My ad was rejected by Reddit.
Why was this ad rejected?
Reddit doesn’t allow ads that are deceptive or untruthful.
Your ad was rejected for one or more of the following reasons:
The ad and/or landing page did not disclose the terms and conditions of your data and personal information collection practices. The ad withheld information on pricing, terms, or other expenses. The ad misused or misrepresented data in a deceptive way.
I'm not sure what's deceptive. Am I missing the terms and conditions? I've submitted a ticket.
Moving on, I'll take a look at the latest replays.
One of them tried to submit feedback for courses, but submitting failed 😭. I guess it's because of the anonymous login? I'll fix that right away. Done.
The other user subscribed to get notified for the "console todo" project! Unfortunately, the email was not saved. Checking the code, I can see that it was for the same reason - I didn't consider anon users. I should really be checking these things before deploying.
Some other sessions show a user who tried multiple courses, but none were available. Then they went back to the homepage, figured out from the video which one is available, then went back and started it. Left soon after.
Still, no real traffic to speak of.
Today, I'll try to set up instagram ads.
I created an Instagram account, connected it to Meta ads, but I'm stuck at an error when I try to create an ad:
There’s an issue and we can’t connect your ad account right now. Try again later.
Unfortunately that's all I have time for today. I'll look more into i tomorrow.
