Project work prioritized over automation; tracked user funnel; marketing budget considered.
Thought about automating the posting today, but I think I should do some work on my actual project now.
There have been 33 new sessions, 2 new users, 1 started the tutorial. That one user started the tutorial and left after 5 seconds.¸
I need to make these stats easier to track.
I've figured out how to set up a PostHog funnel. I've set up a funnel that tracks the following:
- user visited landing page
- user presented with login screen
- user opened the tutorials screen
- user started a tutorial
- user finished chapter 1
This will be my North Star Metric at this stage.
Each week, I will try and get this number up.
I am considering allocating a monthly marketing budget to get some traffic so I can measure and iterate faster.
I've cleared up the dashboard. Now it displays Chapter 1 finished daily, weekly, and referring domain, so I can track what brings traffic and what doesn't and adjust efforts accordingly.
I still need to automate posting of these, as well as automate uploading of images. I will need to use images as it makes these posts more engaging, but they're turning into a chore that I would much rather automate away so I can focus on more important things.
