Migrated, finished project, eager for feedback.
Very eager to finish today.
Let's start with PostHog.
I've set up the new account and updated the sdk. Looks good.
Now, the hard part. I will start by setting up an instance on Hetzner that works, and then when I'm absolutely sure it does I'm going to reroute the DNS.
Checklist:
- set up a working instance on Hetzner VM
- done
- reroute backend DNS
- done
I've migrated everything and it seems to be working fine. I will delete the digitalocean droplet now and we should be set.
Done. I'll add a small text on the tutorials page asking for feedback on which tutorials to make next.
After that, I'll start sharing it. For now, I'll just send an email to my subscribers and post it on linkedin
Done. I've added a small subtitle saying "new tutorials coming soon" and a button saying "Request tutorial". Hopefully i get some nice feedback here.
I will now share it on linkedin and my mailing list.
Done.
In the first 20 minutes, I can see from PostHog that people leave if they have to log in. That's fine I guess? Probably means they are not that interested.
In the next few days, I will monitor the server to make sure nothing breaks and look at session replays on PostHog to learn about how people use the app.
I have some errands to run and some obligations later, so I'll leave it be for now. I'll periodically check the status on my phone throughout the day, but won't be making any changes.
