Struggling with Design

I spent the whole day trying things out, but didn't like anything I came up with. Not sure exactly what's wrong as my ui design skills are really poor, but I know that I don't like what I'm seeing

I tried adding some character to make it a bit more playful, like hard borders and maybe a better font, but it just doesn't look good and doesn't fit with the rest of the components, and I'm not skilled enough to design all of them properly.

So as sad as it is, I'll have to deal with the fact that it's going to look like every other cookie cutter saas that uses shadcn/ui 😢

I think the takeaway is I won't try to make anything "different", at least not for now. I just don't have the skills to come up with a good design on my own.

I took another try and it looks much better now, although still looks like a generic shadcn app.

Maybe I could play with the theme instead?
